Pay Attention to Inconsistencies

Does your script start out exciting and interesting but end bland and monotonous? Do you gain speed and energy in a natural fashion, or does the script have an unnatural ebb and flow? Read the script to a colleague role-playing as an audience member and hear their input. Were topics properly introduced? Was the overall intent of the webinar clear? Were there enough interactives to stick around for the whole session? 

Gauge the Time

The ideal webinar should be no more than 45 minutes long and no less than half an hour. This can vary depending on who your audience is and the subject matter you cover, but the end goal is the same — don’t bore your attendees and end up with a slew of screens going black.

Gain an idea of the overall session time by running through your script and making adjustments as needed to shorten your webinar in some areas or lengthen it in others. Organize Content

Content should be organized so it flows well and the main points are clear before moving on to the next section. Is each segment easy to understand? Are some parts of your webinar convoluted, or are topics easily discussed, clearly bulleted, and relevant to the main parts of your webinar? If a person completely new to your brand can understand your webinar, you’re on the right track.
